Artistic Welding


Artistic Welding is also part of the five-week Theatre Arts Production Program.

JULY 24 - 28, 2017

For beginners.


In this intensive one-week course, participants learn bending and welding techniques used in the creation of stage sets. Participants will learn how to safely build their concepts in 3D, using an array of innovative techniques. The courses cover mig and gas welding, brazing and shaping metal.

JULY 17 - 21, 2017

For those who have already acquired basic welding skills.


This one-week course goes beyond the basics to explore advanced techniques. 


The low student-to-teacher ratio in each course ensures instruction is geared to the participants' skill level and experience. Please indicate your related experience when you register.

The course fee covers the cost of basic materials required during the course. In this course, participants have the opportunity to work on personal projects. Depending on the complexity of those projects, additional costs for materials may be incurred and are the responsibility of the student.


Combine either of these courses with another one-week summer course and save $50; combine it with two other one-week summer courses and save $125.
