Setting The Scene
ARTIST INSTRUCTORS: JEREMY COX, KEVIN KEMP, and MICHELLE JAMIESON
AUGUST 13 - 24, 2018
This two week course will take you on an adventure in museum display creation. Put on your conductor's hat as we create a grand trunk railroad special - a near life-size train that will have a home in the Stratford Perth Museum.
Bring your ingenuity and resourcefulness to this unique two-week course.
Participants will have the opportunity to work with seasoned artists from the Stratford Festival as they go through the steps from design to completion of this exciting new community collaboration.
Participants will experiment with different theatrical skills, such as Carpentry, Scenic Painting, Prop Making and more. A wonderful introduction to Theatre Arts in General, this course always fills up quickly, so please sign up early!
The low student-to-teacher ratio in each course ensures instruction is geared to the participant's skill level and experience. Please indicate your related experience when you register.
The course fee covers the cost of your materials during the course.
